Spotted Horse

It was a fairly quiet day today. We drove across northern Wyoming to Gillette where we are spending the night.

Helen is very good at finding lodgings online as we drive along and then booking once we have decided where to spend the night.
Purchasing a U.S. SIM card was a great decision.

We couldn't resist a short detour into Montana. Just 10 miles, but now we can tick that state! Not that I wouldn't like to see more of it sometime. Looks fantastic from the pictures I've seen.

From the map, Gillette doesn't look much bigger than Spotted Horse (pictured in its entirety) but fortunately it is.

Our motel is very nice and we got a pizza to have in our room with some delicious wine we got the other day at Palisade.
They even let me play some C&W music off YouTube :-))
