Cerberus for Halloween
Cerberus in Greek and Roman mythology, is a multi-headed (usually three-headed) dog, or "hellhound" with a serpent's tail, a mane of snakes, and a lion's claws. He guards the entrance of the Greek underworld to prevent the dead from escaping and the living from entering.
Cerberus is an ideal subject for our hosts Halloween celebrations when smoke will come out of their mouths! Sounds scary for little kids - big ones too.
"The Twelfth Labour of Hercules." Capturing Cerberus was the final labour assigned to Heracles (Hercules) by King Eurystheus, as penance for Heracles killing his own children after being driven insane by Hera.
