Mushrooms in a tree

Well, the promised bad weather has not materialized even tho we have had rain.  It'sa very good thing that a Category 4 Hurricane did not hit Washington.

The rain has brought the mushrooms to the fore.  This tree has a hole about two feet up and today we saw this colony growing.
