Red Lion
Today, we walked from Cley-next-the-sea to Stiffkey, having taken the coast hopper bus on the outward journey so as to miss the worst of the forecast rain. In the end, the sun shone all afternoon and the sea breeze brought a freshness to the temperature. At the end of today's walk, the Red Lion at Stiffkey was found to be open and us Jolly Boys are well known for our eagerness to support rural businesses such as these.
In the evening we enjoyed a fine curry from Holt collected by car. The short journey was extended slightly by having to make a repeat visit to the Kings Arms in Blakeney to recover an errant pair of glasses (not mine).
