The end of World Cup dreams

Today I headed to Twickenham to watch England vs Australia.
I have been to a few rugby games before, but I must say- I have never felt an atmosphere quite like that. It was of course the World Cup, and one of the biggest rivalries in rugby, but it really was electric inside that stadium.
Unfortunately it did not turn out quite as hoped, and it's even sadder to say that it wasn't just bad luck. Australia were definitely the better side, and in all honesty, deserved that win.
Whilst it wasn't great that England lost, and our car journey home was distinctly quieter than the way there, I had a really fabulous evening. I must admit that rugby fans are so much more pleasant than fans of other sports, and so, despite losing, people were still shaking hands with Australian fans and enjoying the whole experience.
Bad luck England, but congratulations Australia
