Lanercost Priory

Lanercost Priory was built almost entirely from stones ransacked from nearby Hadrian's Wall. But the builders didn't always pay attention - the extra picture shows a brick with a Latin inscription placed upside down in the wall of the vicarage building beside the Priory.
