Into infinity...

The forecast was correct for this morning - very misty. We walked on Cocklawburn beach and it was rather like being in a strange sci-fi film where the sand and sky go on forever, and you walk on and on but never get anywhere! No views of Lindisfarne today. Good to be by the sea though.

On to a couple of showrooms to look at bathroom suites and tiles, then to a couple of shops on Bridge Street in Berwick and, finally, the supermarket and home. Not much time for anything else before MrM left for a jazz -band gig in Paxton.

Didn't tackle those little DIY jobs yesterday evening after all. Instead, ordered some bare-root roses to go in the planters in the courtyard. It's taken ages to decide on which ones to buy - they won't arrive until some time in December but felt quite giddy with excitement when the order had gone through! Then put in another order for perennials and bulbs :-) Better finish off painting that wall and get the planters ready...
