What a difference a day makes
Twenty four little hours ...
The difference between sitting in a Turkish cafe and sampling the local cuisine, and sitting in a British pub garden and checking out the Christmas menu ... But life moves on.
As for the rest:
We basically spent time with The Dizzle and started dejunking the kitchen. A lot of work, but as we want to do more creative cooking, it all starts with getting the place organised. Did sample the honeycomb we bought back from Istanbul which is simply lovely, and did some unpacking.
The cats have hardly been out of sight all day; I think they missed us.
A movie and an early night tonight; we have another week off work - the staycation to follow the vacation - and it is all very tiring this relaxing stuff ...
