Ilex Way

We have never been here before, it's only about a mile from our house. On a Saturday morning full of people walking their dogs, most of whom we chatted to as Rosie tries to understand doggy social etiquette without being terrified of the very bouncy dogs who tower over her. We proper like doggy people we decided. Most of the trees are very climbable much to Will's delight (climable?? That doesn't look right either).

Last night was lots of good fun with plenty of laughing, reminiscing and gin. I sensibly left in my pre booked taxi, actually feeling not quite ready to go home but the logistics are not easy so best to go ahead with the original plan. While I was out I had missed Rosie eating Joe's sick, shame.

After our walk we did the library and charity shop delivery. Will is adamant that the 544 page third book in a series about wizards is the obvious next step for him after his beloved Tom Gates and could not be persuaded otherwise. Either we will be back at the library by Wednesday or he will still be reading at Easter. Then he went to the roller disco, I did some work, I cooked four or five different meals for dinner and I do love a Saturday evening.
