Sunny Istanbul

On such a wonderful day as this, with very warm sunshine and a slight teasing breeze, the waterfront in Ortakoy is an obvious place to while away an hour, so that's what I did after a morning partly spent in school for parents Open House.  I also popped in to the Ortakoy Cultural Centre where there is an exhibition of paintings by Mete Keran, all for sale. I couldn't find out much about the artist, but clearly a man who enjoys colour - his paintings were interesting, attractive and easy on the eye.
