Maeve the Deerhound
... in the Field with the Bridle Path (not enough room in the title box)
14.3C starting cloudy then becoming brighter. Sunny through the afternoon. Light breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had our walk round the harbour. The lock gate to the inner harbour was open so we walked round to the boatyard. Marigold, the boat which seems to have been being dismantled in the corner of the inner harbour over the last few weeks, was on the slipway. Some of the creel boats were out at sea. Two of the day trip boats were tied up. We had a wander along the quay in the outer harbour then came back to the car.
Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Van Morrison on the Nano (Days Like This). We went up to the church then down the field with the bridle path to the shore road. I let Maeve off her lead and walked ahead of her to get one or two pictures as she followed me down the field. We came back along the cycle path and along towards Carnoustie then up the main road and round to home.
World Cup rugby union on the telly this afternoon. Scotland v South Africa ...
