Blood moon

So much for the wonderful super-blood-moon. I stayed up till 250am with my camera all ready to go - and nothing. Just a bright white moon! 

I woke to find a txt from my next door neighbour's son at 320am telling me to get out in the back yard as the moon was red!

So this is my shot of the blood moon :(

Weather: blue skies; shirt weather; 17 degrees c; perfect summer's day.
