Another tulip.

I love tulips but I wish they would last a bit longer. Here today and gone tomorrow.
We are having a hot spell which is great but the spring flowers don't love it. We had an enjoyable morning in the garden and this afternoon went to the family next door to watch the grand final of the AFL ( one of the four codes of football). I know nothing of football but picked the winning team. They have the same team colours as my first school so you have to choose a team somehow. Tomorrow is the grand final of the NRL. I know nothing ( as usual) but for the record am going for the north Queensland Cowboys. We used to live up there and I can't choose by team colour 'cos I don't know what they are. Tonight is the Aussie vs England Rugby. Guess I'll go for the green and gold team. I try to like football but have a way to go.
