Improvising

And yet another cracking day today - getting excited about the summer now, life just seems better in the Sunshine!

Miles and I went down to the drum shop because I needed to pick up some new earplugs, having lost my old set a few months back. Rehearsals are starting with The General Assembly again on Monday and we tend to crank it up a bit, so best to be well equipped! Miles had a ball in Drumtek - and Sean even gave him a free pair of sticks, much to his delight. After some shopping, we stopped off for a babycino (him) and an almond milk granita espresso (me). I didn't have any toys to keep him entertained, so I pulled out a USB stick and a pack of chewing gum (spaceships), which kept him going for about 15 minutes!

Lots of park ensued, and during his nap I went to town on the floor tiles in the kitchen. Small progress, but hopefully the sanders will be coming in 5 weeks, so we need all the tiles up! Gina was keen for icecream when she got in, so we all set off to a new place in Westgarth, which was awesome. Home for roo on the barbie. Delicious!

I have to say that I have no idea what happened in the footie final. I'm sure that social media will be awash with it when I tune in again.
