The Luminaries

Finished moving all the pots from near the house to their temporary home in the veg garden. Sat down for cups of tea in the sunshine and even managed to read outdoors this afternoon too.

I started this book a few days ago, it's set in the mid 1800s around the gold mining in New Zealand. A man has vanished, another has died in his hut with an enormous haul of gold, and numerous other mysteries - it's going to be a very long read but the plot thickens ...
