Calm Before Storm!

Some crazy weather in NJ this afternoon. There were storms in South Jersey that produced 5 inches of rain in one hour and huge hail stones. Lots of damage and people stranded in cars in floods, cars dented from the hail.

We did not get any where near that in Northern NJ but it was still quite violent as you can see from these clouds moving in. I was trying to catch the lightening but no luck.

Anyway, sorry I have not been posting photos most of the week. Very busy week for me, lots going on, stuck in traffic all of the time, and had a meeting last night and did not get home until late.

Plus it has been 100 degrees and humid, humid, humid and too hideous to be out side.

I am hoping for a very sound sleep tonight and a peaceful start to the day tomorrow.

I actually ended up getting another job, ONLY .69 miles from my house. It all happened so fast. I found out about it less than a week ago, went for the interview Wednesday a.m. and was offered the job today.

It is a regular job (not a contract one) so I will get vacation, etc. I could not stand the commute, 42 miles one way on Route 80. If anyone knows that highway I think you can understand why. So, I am finishing up that job around 4th of July (gotta help them thru this major initiative they have going on and I do feel bad about leaving them flat but..... :). I have always done things for others that may not have always been right for me and now I have to start thinking about what is right for me.

I am starting the new job on July 9. My lucky number has always been 709 so we will see if it holds true. Small company and I could walk to work if I had too. Fingers crossed that it works out.

Will try to catch up with some of you this weekend.
