In case you didn't know. I love fountain pens just as much as pencils. I have  longed for a Namiki Falcon for eons. Now I finally have one. A very fine soft gold nib with flex makes it a perfect tool for drawing and writing. I will be using it mostly for drawing, but no doubt I will do a wee bit writing with it as well.
The other pen sitting behind the Falcon is a Pilot Metropolitan. A popular pen for every day use. This one I will use as an every day pen. It has an extra fine nib. Delicious to write with (great for drawing as well).

In the extra photos there are two pics of the Platinum Weasel hair brush pen. Yes it is a fountain pen. A beautiful pen to look at and it feels wonderful in the hand. Perfect balance and weight. The pure Weasel hair tip is simply superb. Light and springy and holds its super fine point wonderfully well. I adore this pen. Super fine hair lines :) 
I can't stop playing with it even when its not inked. It is so nice to draw with and perfect for calligraphy. It comes with a cartridge containing a super fine oil for keeping the pure Weasel hair in perfect condition. The cartridge replaces the ink cartridge or the piston adaptor after cleaning the pen. The cartridge has a floating ball bearing which seals the cartridge for later use. Smart, practical, and efficient.
