Shades of wood - Inlaid box

My host today bought this beautiful inlaid wooden box at the Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival in Albuquerque. The master craftsman is from Akron, Ohio, and is shown holding the piece. His name is Tim Niewiadomski of Studio by Ski.

All pieces are his own design with natural wood colors and textures. No dyes, stains or paints are used to create any piece. Tim has won a huge number of awards for his work.

This box is made from 5 different timbers as follows: MORADO, CURLY MAPLE, BLOODWOOD, ROSEWOOD and INDIAN ROSEWOOD.

We then moved onto lunch at the annual Greek Festival, making it a very full day.
