What A Day

Out early to fit new flash tubes to one of the camera clubs studio flashes while I knew I could get access to the community centre.
That turned out to be an easier job than expected.

SWMBO and I headed into town this morning.
That was a mistake.
Well - that is not really true
My choice of route was a BIG mistake.
I had forgotten about the Royal Highland Show being on.
My God ...... the traffic was snarled up for miles in all directions.
Even trying to get back out of town by a route nowhere near where the Highland Show traffic should be was horrible.
It took about 2 hours just to get in and back out.

Afternoon was spent at the big soft play place for the Cygnets birthday party.
I went because I was told that one of the ladies wanted to buy me a coffee (what a nice lady).
Not only did she buy me a coffee (which came in something akin to the size of a bucket) but she gave me a very nice bottle of whisky ..... and SWMBO a box of chocolates.
The chocolates were for letting her use my services for a couple of hours.

This evening SWMBO and I were out for a very nice meal with some of the craft association.
The food, company and conversation were great and the view was not bad either.
