Spent some time in the polytunnel tying up the tomatoes using this very old twine. It is a bobbin from a weaving mill, given to me recently by an elderly gentleman who had once rescued it from his parents house. I love the clear plant origins visible on close inspection. Is there a more natural way to encourage the tomatoes to do their best?
