Summer's End

This is my entry for the Flower Friday challenge, thank you once again to Biker Bear for hosting.

Walking round the garden this afternoon I was struck with just how soon the summer will be gone, and although September/October is my favourite time of year and is often beautiful, it's always over far too soon. Perhaps because of my mood I decided to use this rose bud as today's blip  -  after all I don't think we'll see many more this year.
