Ablaze

I arrived home this afternoon to a yard of people- relatives, connections and the landlord-sometime-gardener. Of those staying for an impromptu meal, one is vegan, one is garlic-free vegetarian, two are lacto-ovo vegetarians and one is gluten free. No wonder I hate cooking!!

Later, a giggly night with the big girl. Two pimples make you look ugly? What rot! You're gorgeous! Look at my school photos, dear. Yes, more than two pimples there. Yes, a perm was considered fashionable. Really, you think our uniforms looked masculine? Well, it takes a few years to work out good hair and make up... Keep laughing, darling. You're not through it yet and I wear a camera these days. It's going to be hilarious!
