Life in a Northern Town

Day 120: - Rays

Our journey to Taylor Hill this morning was like driving through a curtain of sunbeams, I really don't remember ever seeing such defined crepuscular rays. And of course when there was nothing to filter the sun it was dazzling, like driving blindfolded, with my fingers crossed that anybody coming the other way could at least see me. I was listening to Ray Davies on Radio 2 as we drove, a nice symmetry.

By the time I reached the park the sun was a little too high, but I caught this and the shot in extras.  Back at home again and I had a message waiting for me to call someone at work - by the name of Ray of course, it's a day of rays.

My own little ray of sunshine utterly adored Annie last night, I kept sneaking glances at her face as she watched - she was totally caught up in the experience. I enjoyed it very much too, despite my curmudgeonliness about musicals, it was a grand night out.
