'Those blue remembered hills'
So wrote A E Housman in 'A Shropshire Lad', but not about these hills. These are from my own 'portfolio' of remembered hills, and there is The Buckle itself: Buachaille Etive More, my favourite. Near the top of my all time memories is standing on a one inch ledge near the top of Rannoch Wall on the Buckle, looking between my legs straight down to the Glencoe road a thousand feet below. The view is up Loch Rannoch on such a crystal clear day.
