Fairy Highrise

Today, being a fairly gray & showery sort of day, did not give me too much in the way of photographic inspiration. However, I did happen upon this interesting log with very cool looking mushrooms growing on it. I find mushrooms to be very interesting in general and these look to me like little fairy verandas so, of course, I felt I must linger for a few moments to study them and snap a few pics.
