Evening Light
I spent a happy 3 hours at Gosforth Park Nature Reserve this afternoon. The weather was glorious again, and I'd hoped to finish off with a fabulous sunset - but the weather gods didn't favour me as there wasn't enough cloud (not something one often says!!). However the lake was almost completely still so the reflections were nice, and there was at least a little bit of colour in the sky.

There wasn't a great deal of avian activity either, but I'll add a slightly fun "extra" of a heron coming in to land; unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to select a fast enough exposure to freeze its action completely, but it made me chuckle :)
