Tuttle by Design

Had a bit of CAD fun this evening after a challenging game of badminton earlier.
As a D & T technician, I often find myself testing our son on his er technical knowledge and tonight tried out some design software. The car Tuttle jnr drew here using Techsoft 2D Design, though rather basic, was a great learning curve for him. He was quite surprised how much mathematics and geometry goes into even the most simplest of shapes. Really pleased with his progress and will be looking forward to seeing how he gets on with the 3D stuff. A few more lessons and he'll be knocking on Fab Lab's door so he can use their laser cutter, 3D printer, CNC router......
