In and out of mist
Today was fully taken up with a trip across Central Scotland to pick up Ellen's sculptures which have been exhibited in Scotland's Sculpture park. They are all metal pieces and they are coming back tanned from exposure to West Coast air.
We left as the sun broke through the mist but spent most of the journey dodging in and out. When we were in, it was dismal; when we came out it was to glorious sunshine.
Unfortunately, we were in the mist when we arrived at the ferry to start our journey home. The ferry captain decided not to sail until the mist cleared a little. The queue built up but we could all see the difficulty in that we couldn't see where we were going.
Ellen decided to go for a walk. As she was away, the mist cleared and the ferry started to load up. I waited.
