Long awaited cream tea
Final day in roseland. A morning trip to St mawes castle with the spooky 'pretend' people followed by a beach session. My long awaited cream tea was finally granted on our terrace in the cottage. This was taken just before elodie took a spectacular fall off her chair. Briefly looked like the day would be ruined but she eventually brushed herself off and we went to porthcurnick beach for a late afternoon play. Gaby and elodie made a brilliant sand fort and Gabriel crashed around in his usual way. Nice pub meal at the plume of feathers. On the way home, elodie wanted Gaby to ask her lots of questions about the night time which she answered like we would. One of the best ones was "elodie, why do we need to sleep?" Her answer, "because otherwise we do lots of whinging and screaming." Correct! Sad to say goodbye to this truly stunning spot. It's been a mix of amazing moments plus some tough times too, partly due to some stresses with the new neighbours over our house extension, which I think have finally been resolved this evening.
