Cake, anyone?

Today is Amethyst's 14th Birthday. Happy birthday, Bebe!

Anyway, not only does that make me feel rather old, but I'm at a loss as to where all those years have gone (and yes, I have tried down the back of the settee - first place I looked and just before in the microwave where I left my socks the other day. For some reason I felt that my socks belonged there and not in the washing pile. Still having to wait until the microwave has been fumigated though...). It seems like just yesterday I was changing her nappies and dodging projectile vomit.

Saying that, I'm hoping she doesn't discover alcohol too soon as I really don't want to go back to the stage of cleaning up after her again...
