PLASTIC MILK BOTTLES
In the chill of the early morning mist I prepared for next week. A two day residential training for trainers event in Inveraray and a morning's class in Kirkintilloch.
As the sun came out the shady part of the garden appealed. While our new carpets (made of recycled plastic milk bottles, by the way) were laid, I hacked about in the undergrowth, emptied some compost bins and filled others. The butterflies, hoverflies and everything that creeps and flies seemed to be making up for lost time. My neighbour confided in me he hates autumn. I love it. All that sorting out, tidying and planting bulbs in hope. And still so many flowers. I love these humble, whiskered nasty urchums.
