Someone is smiling

It was almost a surprise when the carpet fitter rang this morning, not having heard a peep from John Lewis flooring department to confirm he would be here. I never bothered to contact them as it is next to impossible. The fitter - a very nice chap - brought the news that JL had ordered half wrong so he didn't have all the carpet. JL have been pretty much rubbish.
