Nan Lian

This morning I went up to the beautiful Nan Lian Gardens. Surrounded by the huge apartment blocks and flyovers of Diamond Hill in north Kowloon, this is one of my favourite places in Hong Kong. Created in the style of Tang dynasty garden, every hill, rock, pond and tree and structure has been placed according to specific rules and methods.
