More Market Day chaos

The sea front summer market has finally packed it in for the winter so the remaining traders crowd into the market square. 

The knock on effect is that vans take up most of the available parking around the square from early morning. This means that the punters, being typically French, adopt a "flexible" attitude to parking etiquette.

This is not normally a problem, except when a very large articulated lorry tries to negotiate the remaining road space.

I think the driver might just as well pop in to the Church for a few prayers, as he won't be going anywhere else for a while.
