Young fishermen

With five teenage boys in the house, my front door looks rather "busy", somehow life for them is far too exciting to be tidy, but at least they take their shoes off before coming inside...but then the get left exactly where they took them off! Wouldn't trade it though, really love having them all around.

All the blokes went out at first light this morning and they fished, and they fished but sadly when they arrived back at 1pm the story was 2 lost and 2 too small to keep. Seems like it has generally been a similar story for most of the fishermen which is a bit concerning as this lake has always been known to have trophy size fish but over the last ten years they seem to be getting smaller and smaller.

This afternoon Cody and one of his mates went out in the row boat and arrived home with a legal sized trout, but not that big, and hear on the radio that the others have two on board the Wakarua.

Daughter in law Nicky sent down a big stack of home made hamburger patties so easy dinner tonight for Nana!
