You.
I saw this as I was taking a shortcut to my class. I had a few minutes, so I stopped to read what was on the card. I have included the full text below, in case it is too small to read:
"You are here.
To quietly stay away from chaos, maybe.
These books have no cover. I believe, each should have the chance, no matter how brief, to reveal themselves - and, not to be burdened by the title and the picture on the front page.
You.
Share a secret you have never told anyone.
Pick a book - write it on the cover, anonymously.
Come back later to see what keeps people away from each other.
We are in this world together."
On the cover of the note, it said that it was an experimental project. I wonder who set it up and what the responses collected will be used for. When I walked by the same spot a week later, crates and books were gone.
I thought it was very interesting. At the very least, it was a chance for people to share their innermost thoughts without having to fear being judged. Maybe it will bring about some good changes, or have a positive influence on people who sat down and wrote something. I hope so. :)
Extra Photo:
This is a building on my campus. I took this picture when I walked by one evening after a late class. I liked the cleanliness of the angles and how the interior was divided up into neat squares. (For any scientists reading this: the image reminded me of a Neubauer haemocytometer chamber. XD)
