Blue (Mosque)

You can't really avoid the very touristy part of town, because it's also the very best. A ride on Istanbul's new subway (built at the cost of years more archaeological digging) and then tram to Topkapi Sarai, then more baklava than a human being should ever eat in one sitting. And lots of strolling around and strong coffee.
