Horse Hooves

We were out at the Weald and Downland Museum for a vintage day.

There was an old traditional funfair,  all the old steam engines were out in  force and the old brass band.  After a delicious lunch from one of the stalls we decided to go around the old buildings.  I never tire of them and am happy to go back to visit time and time again.

In the working farm the animals were all out to view.  It's lovely to see the breeds that are almost lost to modern farming methods.  The Shire horse was having a day off from it's normal duties and stood tethered at the fence.  I could have taken the entire horse but those hooves are so beautiful on their own.
