Butterfly Gardens

Today was the first day of the Eid holidays here in Dubai and we had planned to go visit the Butterfly Enclosure at Miracle Gardens.  

Friends John & Marilyn (extra pic) joined us, and John being the only bloke amongst us 4 ladies, announced that he was visiting there with his four wives!!! We all chuckled as that was quite amusing.  To think that is reality for some blokes!

Anyway, we saw far more butterflies than we though we would and it was really quite lovely. Was pleased to have gone.

Then onto Dubai Mall to get Marilyn's new smartphone sorted, only they couldn't there so we had to take it back to the place of purchase, which was Deira City Centre.  All successfully done and she is the proud owner of a brand new smartphone.  There will be no stopping her.

Quick trip back home for me to get changed as I was meeting up with some dear friends at the Boardwalk, Creek Golf Course.  It was a very pleasant evening, sitting outside even, catching up.

Too tired to blip that night, so I'm back blipping.
