Poorly Jack

Poor Jack, he hasn't had a good day :-(

He was let out first thing this morning, all fine and dandy, and came back soon after with a poorly paw. We kept an eye on him and he seemed fine, so I booked a vets appointment for the afternoon and went to work. My daughter was at home all day and said that he mostly slept. When I got home it seemed worse to me, so I took him for his appointment.

It turns out that he has a clean cut between two toes, which we couldn't see, and was probably caused by something like glass. It's deep, down to the tendon. We needed surgery today, so we left him there to be prepped.

It's a few hours later and we have him back. He doesn't like his bandage and is desperate to go out, but is otherwise fine.
