Early waking, I recall an Interwebz meme that is going around... 
"Insomnia? Not to worry, only three sleeps 'til Christmas"
Aha...

But as the Sun eventually rose, it cast itself between two buildings to light up a column of yellow on the firs at the back of the garden.
