capture the moment

Thought I might attempt a catch up on my blip entries - wish me luck!

Switzerland - specifically up the Schynige Platte above Interlarken. After a relaxing 40 min or so ride up by the old mountain train we were met with fantastic views of the Alps - Eiger, Monch and the Jungfrau. With strategically placed frames to 'capture' the view - we did although herding a family group of the size is no laughing matter!

Super hot, we walked up to the nearest viewpoint, had lunch, cooled down and encouraged the kids to head off to the next climb - right along the ridge above the Brienz Lake. Involving a ladder and a cave as well as a high point it was all the excitement we could manage in one day and took our time to walk back to the last train down the mountain - the kids needed to swim!

Definitely a 'highlight' of the trip - although going high did little to remove us from the heat of the day - it was a hot one!
