Golden Circle

We were all tired after our journeys yesterday, but it looked like reasonable weather today - so we went and did the touristy golden circle.

We started at the magnificent Gulfoss waterfall. We got thoroughly soaked, as there was so much spray.
We then went along to Geysir, and I managed to photo the 'bubble', just before Strokkur goes off.
After that we went along to Thingvellir national park.
There were some showers, and lots of sunshine, so it was also a day of many rainbows, so had to add an additional picture of one of the rainbows - captured through the windscreen (I wasn't driving).
The main picture is one I captured through the drivers window as we went along. I'm not sure what it is, but I loved the composition and light.
