The butterfly effect
Trying to think of ways to produce unusual surreal images today.
The tree surgeons were here - and finished the job. The window people should have come this afternoon, but phoned to say they would come this morning. I said I'd like them to come when agreed. Then I had a message to say that they could not come today because of a tummy bug. My cynical antennae were very active at this point.
In the garden at 5pm there was one intense patch of sunlight on a sedum and the butterflies were crowding around. They hardly opened their wings until I gave them some shade.
At the Queens Hall tonight, Julie, Mum and I saw Dickens Abridged peformed by 4 Californians. It's a brilliant show if you have the chance to see it. We laughed a lot all through (even at the sad bits). The guillotine scence in The Tale of Two Cities was a tour de force.
