Check up.....

Our faithful and ageing (though gracefully and barely showing) Passat needed some TLC from our wonderful mechanic. It's been making some rather worrying shuddering noises when travelling at speed recently. We hoped it was road surface noise as it disappeared after a while or when we slowed down a bit. 

D was due to take it and three passengers to the Peak District this weekend so best get it looked at. We went in the Riley to collect it this evening and I drove it home.

It's all good now, but isn't needed for the trip...so I will have transport should I need a car.
