Shorter days

As September becomes October I am noticing the shortening of the days and the lengthening of the nights , even though the weather is more like summer. In a few weeks the clocks will change which always emphasises the transition.

This evening I stayed in my Parliamentary office until almost 8.00 and it was already dark when I left the building.

This morning driving along Glen Kinglas the sun was only just breasting the hills at the "Rest & Be Thankful"as I made my way east.
