Heron dance
At Widemouth Bay today just down from Bude in Cornwall, standing on one of the cliff tops overlooking the beach and spotted a pair of herons on the sands (I've never seen them on the beach before), they were being mobbed by seagulls, so they took off and flew over the waves and the male (?) began to play flight with the female from below - please bare in mind, they were far away as that's why this shot isn't perfectly in focus - but to capture it at all and to be able to capture sights such as these with this amazing lens is to me, more important then getting a clear, crisp, perfect shot! Anyhow - it reminded me of a dance and just showed that herons can be graceful too :) xx
