A rugby portrait
This month the task set by the parent's camera group at school (I cannot call it a camera club as it is not quite that) is to get some environmental portraits, you know, the ones that place the subject in an environment that tells a bit of a story of what they are doing. I asked Luke to come with me to the rugby club near our house and to pose as a rugby player....he chose his rugby shirt from a New Zealand club, some NZ blippers may recognise it (although it is probably from a few seasons ago!) The harsh sun was horrible and although I used off camera fill in flash I was not happy with the result so we will may try again although he only has a few days left at home...* wipes a tear from my eye *
Thank you so much for all the support for my 1000 blip anniversary, the generous comments and all the hearts that I received was quite overwhelming. It is still sitting on the first page of the popular page, together with all those amazing shots of the lunar eclipse.
