Tropical rain

We had the first storm of the wet season this evening. As the low rolled in the sky went deep purple and then back. It was like a wall advancing across the sky. And the enviable rain. It was your typical tropical down pour. While not the most wonderful capture this picture provides a snapshot of the volume of water falling. If you were caught out you would be drenched to the skin in minutes.
