There was relentless rain, howling wind and it was freezing. I was drenched and my fingers were frozen by the time the torch got close. I took this shot on auto focus and have therefore learnt to avoid this in future as the focus clearly isn't on the intended subject....and my camera announced that it was "busy" as the flame drew close. I think I am on a steep learning curve ! Nonetheless I could not take a shot of the ( invisible ) olympic flame and fail to use it as my blip. Onwards and upwards.
